Refund Policy
Effective 4 September 2026 · Version 1.0
This policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. It applies to every course sold on apexhuman.ai by Apex Human Technology, Inc.
1. The short version
An Apex Human course is a one-time purchase that opens immediately and is yours to keep. We do not offer change-of-mind refunds. We will always put things right when the problem is ours: a payment that took your money without giving you access, a double charge, a course that is not what we described, a launch we cancel, or a workshop we call off.
Nothing here takes away rights you have under Philippine law.
2. Before you buy
Because we do not refund a change of mind, we make a point of showing you what you are buying first. On every course page, signed in and before paying, you can read the entire curriculum, meaning every module and every lesson, with its summary and its length. Nothing about the structure of the course is hidden behind the payment.
If anything is unclear, please ask us at support@apexhuman.ai before you pay. We would much rather answer a question than take money from someone who wanted something else.
3. When we will refund you
We refund in full, in each of these cases:
3.1 You paid and did not get access. A payment went through, the course never opened for you, and we cannot fix it.
3.2 You were charged more than once, or charged the wrong amount, or charged for something you did not buy.
3.3 A payment you did not authorise. Tell us and we will refund it and secure the account.
3.4 The course is materially not as described. Not "harder than I expected" or "I knew some of it already", but genuinely not the course the page described, for example lessons that are missing, unwatchable, or about something else.
3.5 We cancel a pre-order, or delay it badly. If you pre-ordered and we cancel the launch, or push it back more than 30 days beyond the date shown when you paid, you may have all of your money back, whether or not the course later opens.
3.6 We cancel or move an on-site workshop. If we call it off, or reschedule it and you cannot make the new date, you choose: a place on a later run, or a full refund.
3.7 We retire a course you paid for, and you had not substantially finished it. We will refund on a fair basis, taking into account how much of it you had completed.
3.8 We close your account for a reason of our own that is not a breach of the Terms by you.
3.9 Where Philippine law requires a refund. Section 6 says more.
4. When we will not refund you
4.1 Change of mind. You bought it, access opened, and you have decided you would rather not have. There is no general cooling-off period for online course access under Philippine law, and we do not offer one.
4.2 You did not use it. Access does not expire, so not getting round to it is not a loss. The course is still there.
4.3 It was not the level you hoped, you already knew the material, or you did not enjoy the teaching style. The full curriculum is readable before purchase, as section 2 explains, precisely so this can be judged in advance.
4.4 The product you built did not earn anything. A course teaches you to build and ship a product. Nobody at Apex Human promises it will make money, and section 8 of the Terms says so plainly.
4.5 What your own accounts charged you. AI usage, hosting, domains and any other third-party bill is between you and that provider. We never see it and we cannot refund it.
4.6 You bought the wrong course. This is not a refund, but please see section 5, because we can usually just move you.
4.7 Your access was ended because you breached the Terms, such as sharing paid video, abusing the workspace, payment fraud, or harassment.
4.8 Nothing was paid. Complimentary, comped and on-site-granted access has no purchase behind it to refund.
4.9 Discount codes and promotional value. A refund returns the amount you actually paid. The value of a discount is not refunded in cash, and a used code is not reinstated.
5. What we can do instead
5.1 Move you to a different course. If you bought the wrong one and have barely started it, tell us within 7 days and we will usually swap it for another course of the same price. You pay the difference if the new one costs more. This is a courtesy, at our discretion, and it is the answer to most "I picked the wrong one" messages.
5.2 Fix the problem. Most refund requests we expect to receive are about something broken: a video that will not play, a workspace that will not start, a lesson that seems wrong. Tell us and we will fix it, usually faster than a refund would clear.
5.3 Give you more time or more help. If you are stuck, that is what the tutor and the professor are for. Please ask before you give up.
6. Your legal rights are unaffected
This policy sits on top of the rights you have as a consumer in the Philippines, including under the Consumer Act of the Philippines (RA 7394), the Electronic Commerce Act (RA 8792) and the Civil Code. Where the law gives you a remedy, because a service was not delivered, was defective, or was not as represented, you have that remedy whatever this document says, and nothing here should be read as asking you to give it up.
If you think that applies to you, say so in your message and we will treat it properly rather than pointing at section 4.
7. How to ask
7.1 Go to Purchases & billing in your account. Choose refund request, pick the purchase it is about, and tell us what happened. Asking there rather than by email means the purchase is already attached to your message, and it reaches the person who can act on it.
7.2 You may also email support@apexhuman.ai. Include the email address on the account and the course name.
7.3 We aim to reply within 3 business days. If we need to look into something we will tell you that, rather than going quiet.
7.4 A refund is a request, not a button. A person reads it and a person decides. Declining is an ordinary answer, and if we do decline, we will tell you why.
8. How a refund is paid
8.1 Back to the way you paid, meaning the same card or the same e-wallet account. We cannot send a refund to a different account or by a different method.
8.2 We refund the amount actually charged, after any discount.
8.3 Timing is largely your provider's, not ours. We issue the refund through our payment processor once it is approved. How quickly it then appears depends on your bank or e-wallet, and can take several banking days. E-wallet refunds have their own timing and eligibility rules set by those providers, which is exactly why there is no instant refund button in the Platform. It would be pretending we control something we do not.
8.4 We record the refund against your purchase, and you will see it marked as refunded in Purchases & billing.
9. What happens when a refund goes through
9.1 Access to that course ends. Immediately, not at the end of a period.
9.2 Your work is not deleted straight away. If you built something in the workspace on that course, it stays available for 30 days so you can export it. After that it may be deleted.
9.3 A certificate for that course is withdrawn. Its verification page keeps working, and says the credential was withdrawn, because a QR code already printed on paper should give an honest answer rather than a broken link.
9.4 It does not close your account. Other courses, and everything else you have bought, are untouched.
9.5 A refunded pre-order does not come back to life on launch day.
10. Chargebacks
If you think you have been wrongly charged, please come to us first. A message on the billing page is faster than a bank dispute, and we will refund a genuine error without argument.
Raising a chargeback without contacting us costs us a fee and gives us no way to help, so we may suspend access to the course while the dispute runs. Repeatedly using chargebacks instead of asking may lead to the account being closed.
